In many parts of the world, the children have been dismissed and even denied admission to schools due to the fact that they have dreadlocks.

Parents of these children however argue that this is discriminatory because their children are practicing the tenets of Rastafarianism.

This program focuses on the debate by examining the global situation and discussing what Rastafarianism really means.

Guests are Daddy Bosco who is Chair of the Rastafari Continental Council, James Agalga who is a Lawyer and a Member of Parliament in Ghana, and De-Valera N.Y.M Botchway, Associate Professor of History (Africa and Africa Diaspora) at the University of Cape Coast.
