Today, my friends, I have reached PEAK GAY. I did this live show while wear­ing a vin­tage 70’s flo­ral hip­ster shirt my girl­friend picked out for me, with an acci­den­tal­ly gay­er hair­cut (I was like ​“Just a trim? and the bar­ber was some­how like ​“a GAY trim?”), I played music by Cana­di­an Les­bian duo ​‘Part­ner’ and spoke about activism by icon­ic trans women of col­or. I REPEAT­ED­LY remind­ed you of the impor­tance of not killing or ignor­ing your local queer peo­ple, and the role of this fab­u­lous show on this won­der­ful sta­tion in con­tribut­ing to that wor­thy goal.

I’m jok­ing, I peaked when I walked into UMFM to host a radio show about queer issues while wear­ing that shirt. The hair­cut and top­ics were just acci­den­tal gay icing on the queer cupcake.
