Jun and Matt are 1st year medical students attending McMaster University. In 2019, they received the Drs. Jolie Ringash and Glen Bandiera Renaissance Award - a scholarship set up by former McMaster Medical school graduates who wanted to encourage students to pursue transformational experiences which were outside of their scope of study. As a result, the pair set off on a road-trip project called The Song of Ontario, speaking with different people and learning about places in order to understand the unique histories, challenges, and opportunities that the province is facing. As an end product of the experience, they recorded and produced a musical album called The Song of Ontario, chronicling some of the significant stories and themes they encountered.
