A creative having conversations with other creatives about what influences the creations they create. From photographers to writers to singers, I sit down with creatives that inspire me and ones whose works I enjoy. Seeing how they look at the world through their lens or pen and pad provokes great talks about life, love, pain and happiness. We have these conversations all the time; I just decided to record them so the masses can hear our perspectives.
I chop it up with my homegirl Tempestt Williams, who is a photographer from Virginia. We met through the military in 2007 and we've kept a strong friendship since. As creatives, we have ventured down our roads to progress creatively. While I focus on what I type or write down, she takes her audience on a journey through her lens so they can see how she sees people, scenery and of course shoes. In this convo, we talk about how we've grown since we have both found our significant others, how our creativity has been influenced by our almost 7-year old kids (born two months apart) and how juggling work and parenthood is affecting our creative process.
