We’re all so busy in our modern everyday lives that we seldom hear the quiet voices or notice the beautiful encounters we can have if we only paid attention. I believe that there is much to be gained by slowing down and taking time out. When Tess and I did this just recently on Great Barrier Island, we had a beautiful, unexpected encounter we wouldn’t otherwise have had.
