There's a strong misconception that you can only help people by giving them material things. Sure would be nice but not everyone can. Sometimes your character is all you have to give and that is all the help they need. Give a little kindness. Help someone cross the road, carry their grocery or even open the door. Simple acts of kindness count. It is of high value if for those who just want an ear you would listen and for those who need advice that you would share. Each one help the other. grow.
