Eric Hill of SkillsUSA Illinois and Henry Venneman of Caterpillar join The Greg and Dan Show for a conversation on the 59th annual SkillsUSA Illinois ceremony from April 27th - April 29th at the Peoria Civic Center. 

Hill and Venneman talk about the impact that technical and trade skills have on the workforce, the necessity to recruit the younger generations, and how SkillsUSA Illinois helps each student excel. 

SkillsUSA Illinois is a state and national membership association serving high school, college, and middle school students who are preparing for careers in trade, technical, and skilled service occupations, including health occupations, and for further education.

From April 27th - 29th, the Peoria Civic Center is hosting the State Leadership and Skills Conference, a multi-day showcase for career and technical education students students in SkillsUSA Illinois.
