After Jesus rose again, He walked the road to Emmaus with two disciples and expounded on all the Old Testament taught about Himself. The disciples’ hearts burned within them, for they saw the wonder of God’s glorious plan throughout the ages, a plan to redeem a people for Himself through His own Son. These Scriptures are just as relevant to us today when we read with Christ as the key to understanding them.
