When Jesus was born, the responses of the wise men and King Herod were both unexpected and at the same time could not be any more different. The wise men journeyed from afar, risked a lot to seek out Jesus and worship Him. On the other hand, Herod was troubled and took extreme measures to hold on to his power. When Jesus shows up unexpectedly, do we respond in worship and surrender? Or do we respond in fear and rejection?
