1000 hours outside, in one year. Seems easy, right? Orrrr….. maybe not so much. But worth a shot!

In the latest episode, Jessie and Alayna chat about the latest trend that we’re seeing all over our social media feeds - the 1000 Hours Outside challenge.

Ginny, a mom of 5 from the States, created the challenge when she learned that kids average 1200 hours of screen time a year. She was determined to shift at least some of this time towards a more productive and healthy outcome. Walks in the forest, reading in the hammock, a card game on the porch - they all count towards the 1000 hours.

We chat about how we are hoping to tackle the challenge, the difference time spent outdoors for our mental health, and the absolute best leggings.

Happy listening!
