Mina and his team are literally and figuratively on a rocket ship. Since meeting his co-founders in college and starting to launch rockets in their spare time, space engineering and big ideas have been Mina’s passions and ultimately where Kepler Communications was born. The 2015 Kepler origins include big goals like putting Internet access outside of Earth based on the premise that connectivity is the lifeblood to powering economies today. With five satellites in orbit and a goal to have 50 by the end of 2021, Kepler's becoming the drop-box of space, making its electric impact on the rapidly growing space economy. As people like Elon Musk and Richard Branson have made SpaceX a place that was once reserved for sci fi stories only feel more mainstream, Mina highlights the reform of space access through business model innovations, critical government regulation changes, and how people are starting to develop the multitrillion dollar space market.
