While growing up on a farm in Australia Jarryd started riding dirt bikes when he was just two years old. He began his career in Motocross at the age of 9 and by the time he was 16 he had won numerous state and Australian championships. In 2005 his career took a turn for a different direction when he entered the world of FMX.
