Nick started his weight loss journey weighing 400+ pounds. He always viewed himself as an athlete but had trouble getting of the couch. He currently coaches football and expects his son to be recruited to play after high school. Knowing this, he doesn't want potential college coaches seeing him and thinking his son who plays running back will be similar. This jumpstarted his weight loss. He started losing weight January 1st 2020 after he got back from a cruise. He meticulously kept track of the food he was eating. Since then he has been on a tear losing over 150lbs. He talked about "digging in" and doing the activity and eating right. He said he wants to "earn" any treat or cheat meal he gives himself. Some meals he enjoys are eggs or shrimp. He also fasts, doing 16, 18, OMAD, and multi day fasts. For exercise, he started by going on walks. Then he worked up to running a 5k. He will also go to the gym and is starting to life weights. He said "do it so kids won't have to." He wants his kids to be healthy and he's being an example so they can learn from him. He also said "don't be afraid to start small." This is huge, everyone starts somewhere, don't compare your journey to someone else. I want to thank Nick for taking the time to speak with me! Be sure to follow him @NickolasThegGreat1 or @PwrUp2019. -Jason Tizzano
