Zaida (@CZ__fitĀ ) lost her mother in August 2016. She then lost her father about a year later. Both of these losses weighed on her. To get her mind of the loss of her mom she started thinking about health in January 2017. She has crushed her weight loss losing -65lbs. Now she is weight lifting and looking to start body building competitions in 2021.Check it out here: https://bit.ly/3h58L95We talked a lot about food as food is an important part of her life. Her husband is a cook and she started out as a pescatarian which has evolved to being mostly vegan. When she started losing weight, she was eating about 1600 calories. Now she eats 1800-1900 with more weight lifting. She is a fan of plants, vegetables, and Beyond Meat. She also tries to limit soy, sodium, and too many fruits to make sure she is balanced and healthy. She's not a big sweets person and will have several per month. She loves pasta, so limiting that can be difficult. We talked a lot about exercise. She started with a trainer who helped her have the correct form and ensured she was doing the right exercise. She started out using the trainer 3 days a week. Now, she works out every single day. She usually gets up at 4am to hit the gym. (Far to early for me!!) She is lifting heavy weight and you can definitely see the results in her Instagram photos.Whenever she thinks about giving up, she remembers her "why" being how hard her parents fought before passing. She also remembers all the work she has put in and fears of gaining the weight she lost back. When you are so in touch with your motivators, you can do amazing things like Zaida!Thank you so much for taking the time Zaida! Be sure to follow her journey on InstagramĀ @CZ__FT. Also be on the lookout for her new apparel line.-Jason Tizzano.
