Who you are? What you have to offer in terms of skills, credentials, experience, personality and your core ( special) skills. It should have some value preposition like what problems you can solve and the skills you bring to the table.
Think your summery like a movie trailer, you have to give them as a teaser, who you are, don't tel them complete story in summery, it should be like a promise which your giving to the recruiter, Rest is evidence to support the summery.
In the summery make sure to have 4 components
Core competencies or special key words will help ATS and human to select your resume.
Company name and the potions you held the organization along with little paragraph of your roles and responsibility which you carry.
3 Accomplishments driven,
This is like a backbone to your resume. It should follow the formula of
Action+ Verb ! Task ! Results
What was the action you did. What was your task and what was the results you got from that action and task.
For example:- If your experience mention in the previous organization because of the fast delivery service customer base was increased by 40% during the period of June to September 2019.
You can add data, percentage, money value. Ect.
If your are fresher.
You can talk about the project which you accomplished during the college. Also you can talk about intership achievement. Ect.
In the above format.
Because it will help to pass the ATS and catch the recruiter eye.
For example some company use communication Communicator Customer relationship Customer engagement Customer management ect.
Copy exactly from JD and paste it in your resume. Which shows exactly your speaking company language.
4 Format visibility.
Do not use table, text box colorful images, row and colum. I know it looks good but it will not pass the ATS.
ATS meaning. Applicant tracking system or software. Format your resume according to the company requirements.
Font size should be 11 to 12 not less or more.
Use white gap.
You can bold or make Italian the important words and heading.
Provide your contact information always at the TOP below your name. You can also mention your areas of specialist below the name.
