Cheri is also re-releasing her Dance Club Hits this spring, starting with "House Arrest" mixes Out Now and video out May 14th!.. She feels after such a dark, dreadful year we've had during the Pandemic that these feel-good club anthems will help in lifting spirits, certainly as they have done before. The music video was directed by Christina Turino who was also a part of the all Female production team for Ain't I A Woman". The storyline is everyone is on Lockdown hence House Arrest due to the Pandemic and aren't able to see anyone, everything is closed and Cheri's fed up with being summoned to her couch. So she decides to throw a house party with close friends despite the restrictions. Unfortunately, her neighbors call the cops because of the noise and the cops come to shut it down but instead get mesmerized by the song!
She is also featured in a new show that is coming out! It’s a scripted musical podcast - that stars Anthony Anderson and will launch the music career of the Atlanta rock band Hero the Band. She plays the mother of the father of the band in 1985 - played by musician Blanco Brown- the show is a one of a kind, groundbreaking time traveling musical adventure.

In stinging, righteous language, she insists on her prerogatives and her rights and reminds us that there's nothing a man can do that a woman can't match.
