Who am I? That's the question that drives so much of our lives. The answer has ancient roots. The idea of a Cosmic Person or Being began in the Old Kingdom of Egypt and has spread through Mesopotamia, Babylonia, India, and Greece. This is the beginnings of many foundational ideas. The idea that there is One that somehow unifies the Many. That the One is transcendent or different from the Many. And the beginnings of a dualism, between the One and the Many.
