In lieu of a traditional Zone of Truth, we give you something brand new: Falnix Fables!
Host Calabard the Bard and his guests discuss the latest issue of “Falnix Fables,” live from the Purple Turtle Tavern! (Two drink minimum)
Featured guests/veteran adventurers:

Camel the Druid.
*Falnix Fables is a work of fiction set in an Alternate Dimension. Any similarities between the characters within and actual individuals should be considered coincidence. However, if you or a loved one have somehow traveled to or from that story/dimension via ancient curse, Wild Magic surge, angering Hexis the Warlock, etc., then we would like to hear from you!
Unfortunately, this session did not record correctly so here is a recap!
The group acclimates to Sif as they get acquainted with each other. Sif discovers tell-tale signs of shrikes in the forest. Diego talks combat-strategy and masks with Sif. Río tells the group about the Lux masquerade and thinks the D'artagnans need another leader going forward. She holds Tosh's feet to the fire regarding the Mal Magnotos situation and his tendency to fly solo whenever the elves are involved. Sif and Tosh discuss the future of Mal Magnotos, including plans to acquire mercenaries from Otto (who we learn has been allowed entry into Mal Magnotos before and therefore may have a soft spot for helping them). We also learn that Otto is a reclusive older man in Lux who will almost certainly be in attendance at the masquerade. Thorns are encroaching on the road to Lux and the group encounters two shrikes, who have ensnared someone and are using them as bait. Combat ensues.
Tensions are at an all-time high as the D’artagnans, still reeling from the news of Korey's murder, come to terms with Athena's departure. Río is taking that news the hardest, and she corresponds with Egnil. Tosh is hell-bent on speaking to Rober alone so he travels swiftly to Mal Magnotos but that excursion does not go well. Diego ensures things are settled in Half-Home before he, Río, and Tosh reunite on the road to Lux. An unexpected visitor joins the group.
Combat continues. Athena deals with the heavy emotional aftermath and reunites all of the Brookstones. Pan flees. Río and Tosh acquire rooms at the Red Fawn and Diego checks in with the Sheriff. A deadly plot is uncovered that puts Tosh on edge. Río goes to the Brookstone’s to collect Athena.

Río remembers Tosh's birthday. The D'artagnans send and receive correspondence throughout the kingdom. Diego and Quila reconnect. Athena and Tosh try their hand at tavern brawling. Río checks in with her father and speaks candidly with her sister.
Safely aboard the boat formerly known as the Legume, the D'artagnans take stock of their situation and makes a plan moving forward. The group confronts Diego about Gregori, and Athena reaches out personally.

Río can't shake the feeling that Agis is near, and receives an answer in an unexpected way.
After a long silence, Gregori makes contact with Diego. Río enlists the help of Misnyl to get her and Diego into the palace. Tosh and Athena come to an understanding with Finellen. Dona is nearly past hope but there might be a way for Diego to save her, although the end result wouldn't be ideal.
The D'artagnans put their heads together and conclude that what ails Athena cannot be cured medicinally; Tosh has a stroke of genius and uses a trait of Cruentus in an unusual way. The group makes their way to Solace only to learn that Dona is no longer there. Plans are rearranged to include gaining access to the palace, which puts Río in a precarious position. Diego enlists Dianne’s help in getting a message to Dona. Finellen forces Tosh’s hand, as it were, in establishing an apricot trade. Athena provides gems to the group before they travel down and get themselves rooms in Tripps. Parsimu ale is abundant and costly there, but for good reason. Río travels to the Fifth Step alone and tries to get a read on Lady Misnyl, who either loves Río or absolutely hates her. Back on the Sixth Step, Diego is introduced to puggmus as he starts his day job.
Led by Athena, the D’artagnans realize they need to work in tandem in order to be effective as a group, which means no more sneaking off to go at it alone, and a reckoning of everyone’s secrets. Diego and Athena share a dream about Agis. Niam returns with job offers for everyone, but there’s something foul about Tosh’s. Diego and Río learn more about Alin at the medical tent. Athena accompanies Tosh to the Dregs Tavern, where a more forceful proposition is made to Tosh.

Pascal, Derald, and Denton heroically make good on their promise to get Ríona safely to her destination at any cost.
Ríona's beckoning to the library at Lux continues in her dreams. Pascal recalls the night the king died. Denton attempts to hide a hobby and speaks to Río about Egnil. Derald teaches Pascal a thing or two about building a fire. The group resolves to cross the border where they find dragon-blighted individuals stoking a morbid, magical pyre. The red half-dragon approaches.
Río embarks on a journey of her own after feeling a supernatural pull to go to Lux. Denton, Derald, and Pascal have all agreed to help escort her; Denton’s presence at Egnil’s insistence.
