Jesus is inviting us to come to Him and to spend time with Him. As we come to the Lord, we are able to hear His voice, and then faith comes (Rom. 10:17 NKJV).

In Hebrews 11:6 NKJV, we read, Without faith it is impossible to please God. We need to believe that Jesus is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him; otherwise, we won’t bother coming to Him. The faith to come to God is what pleases Him.

After we have heard God speak to us, we need to be obedient to what He has asked of us. Every time we act out in obedience, He is glorified! Every time we obey God, we build a history with Him. We can come to Jesus with a confidence knowing that He has so much more for us than we think. We think we pursue and come to Him for one thing, and He has more for us every time.
