What is fiscal sponsorship? It's a system that allows individuals and groups to receive grants and donations that are only available to not-for-profit organizations without having to incorporate themselves or file complex tax returns. It is an under-utilized tool that could open the doors to people with passion for art, the environment, social causes, or advocacy that do not have commercial market value, and make it possible to carry out large-scale projects or grow beyond what they can do on their own.
