We’ll discuss the intrinsic link between several fields of science and the slave trade, and how science and its museums can have accountability for the devastating impacts that research had on groups of people without completely disregarding the often crucial discoveries of the time. We also question whether we see reflections of this – does science still, intentionally or unintentionally, exploit people today?
