All Saints Day, November 1st, is a day when the church focuses on and gives thanks for the "great cloud of witnesses" (Hebrews 12:1). We give thanks for those who have gone before us, who pray for us and cheer us on in the race that is set before us. The race is to bless "all the families of the earth." This was God's call to Abraham, and it is God's call to us. For whom are you thankful? Without whom would you not be a Jesus follower today?
