Psalm 119 tells us that the unfolding of His Word gives light (v. 130) and by it, we have life (v. 93). Light & Life. In this first session, Erin Warren shares the context and background for Psalm 119 and walks through the first stanza (verses 1-8) as an example of how this study works. We often think of the Law of the Old Testament as obsolete, but obedience of His Word matters. Because Jesus perfectly obeyed the Law, as we are becoming more like Jesus, we also move toward obedience.
