John Woodall has a very long history with the Apple Lisa. He also purchased the remaining inventory of them from Sun Remarketing when they went out of business. Afterward, John became the biggest and most influential Lisa dealer anywhere. Listen to the interview and find out more about John’s history with the Lisa and what he’s currently doing within the hobby.
John is also part of the team which has created replacement boards for the Apple Lisa. He operates vintagemicros.com and sells the important Profile emulator, the Lisa X/Profile, as well as the replacement boards and other parts.

Mike Douglas is the creator of the new Altair 8800 Clone. The Altair Clone is a cosmetic and functionally accurate reproduction of the MITS (Micro Instrumentation Telemetry Systems) Altair 8800. The Altair 8800 was the “World’s first personal computer,” that is the world’s first commercially successful, mass-produced personal computer. It established creator Ed Roberts as the “Father of the microcomputer” and Albuquerque, New Mexico as its birthplace. There were a few other earlier machines available in very limited numbers, but none of them came as a complete kit or fully assembled and tested as the Altair did. The MITS Altair 8800 literally kickstarted the entire personal computer industry and is a very important computer in computer history.
