More than any time in the U.S. history there is a political divide among individuals. Civility in politics needs to be implemented and people need to consider listening to each other to understand each other's views rather than standing against one another. Establishing relationships are the first steps and having a simple conversation as a starting point helps, like the conversations we normally have at a kitchen table. There are common sense topics and issues that can bring people together.
