Brothers and sisters, let us not forget the people of Syria, our Coptic brothers and sisters in Egypt and all Christians who live in the Middle East. Being a Christians has been a dangerous way of live for quite some time, but now with all the wars it is even worse.

Lord, have mercy on our brothers and sisters, and on the children and those who are innocent bystanders. They are running out of places to run to, and many in many instances they have nowhere to run to as in Gaza and Palestine.

That the hearts of those who have the guns may be converted to You, so that they will then serve You instead of their lust for power and dominance.

Sacred Heart of Jesus, please stir up a revival in the Middle East. Let your peace be the rule of life, let your love abound there. Amen.
