In the season finale of Analyzing Abstracts we go pretentious. My friend Patti and I talk about Sondheim musicals and what makes them. How are they different? How are they unique? What is so special about them? Did we watch all of his musicals before recording this? No, but I think watching at least four and researching and listening to snippets of some is enough to fill an episode. As Little Red Riding Hood said, the woods are just trees, the trees are just wood. Yes.
