Thursday 14th January 2021

A beautiful Thursday to you in the name of Jesus. I'm sure you’re doing well. We thank God for the New Year, we thank God for the month that is going on gradually and we thank God for His grace that is available to us.

We have been talking about Our Sure Investment and as we continue to explore it, let’s understand has been reserved for us in Christ. It is part of the blessing of God, that He has made available for us. So, no matter what has happened in the past, take time to settle down with God, understand that you are coming from a position of strength, not a position of weakness, because of what Christ has done for you.

All through this week, we'll be looking at some of the benefits we have in our heavenly treasure.

Revelation 5:12 (NKJV) 12 saying with a loud voice: "Worthy is the Lamb who was slain To receive power and riches and wisdom, And strength and honor and glory and blessing!"

These are some of the things laid up for us in our heavenly treasure and riches is one of those things. Riches is one of the things a lot of us don't understand as believers. Some people believe that when you come to Jesus Christ it's a life of simplicity, heavenly consciousness and a life where we make investment in heaven. At the end, we go to heaven and enjoy everything, but there is nothing to enjoy in this life. Some believers are convinced that there's nothing like being rich and enjoying the good things of life here on earth, but that's not true.

Christ died so that we can enjoy riches here on Earth, and even greater riches in heaven. If you see the picture of heaven in Revelation it is a place of increase, wealth and abundance.

2 Corinthians 8:9 (NKJV) says,

For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich.

Settle it today God wants you to be rich!

He doesn’t just want you to be rich, He wants you to have more than enough to meet your needs and be a blessing to others. There is a place you come to in Christ, where you understand His purpose for your life, you understand His grace on your life, you understand the place of work and as you begin to trade with these things you will see how wealth and riches begin to progressively manifest in your life.

Psalms 112:3 (NKJV) 3 Wealth and riches will be in his house, And his righteousness endures forever.

God wants you to enjoy wealth He wants you to enjoy riches. He wants you to be able to have the good things of life; material blessings, financial blessings so that you can live a good life here and enjoy it.

Please note that it is not riches or money that destroys people's lives. The Bible says it is the blessing of the Lord that actually makes rich without sorrow. (Prov. 10:22). But the love of money is the root of all evil.

God wants you to be rich. Settle it in your spirit, that's the starting point. If you have something in your mind that is against you progressing financially or materially, then you are self-sabotaging your God given right to riches.

Understand that the riches are righteousness can go together. And I believe that's God’s plan for you this year.

May God give us greater understanding in Jesus name.

God bless you. Have a wonderful day.
