You cannot become more innovative, progressive, transformative, or evolved without innovating from the inside out. You need to change how your organization works, what it values, what it celebrates, and how it exists on the back of cultural norms that support innovation from top to bottom and sideways.

This might sound daunting, and that is why so many companies delude themselves into believing the magicians, the slap ons, or the labs will somehow do the innovation trick—they don't.

In today's episode, I discuss what you should do to become more innovative, progressive, transformative, and evolved. I reveal the thoughts detailed in chapter four of my book, This Is It, titled “Evolution 101: Part Two, Innovating From The Inside Out.” I share how an organization's unwritten dos and don'ts are passed on and affect what the employees do and don't do. I reveal how to begin rewriting the unwritten rules, build trust, and eliminate fear.
