Charla joins me today to discuss the what, why, and how of otherness. Charla shares the truths that have been exposed by the pandemic and George Floyd incident and highlights the problems that occur in a corporate world when we live for status, power, leverage, and money. She discusses why we need to catch ourselves doing the things that are not in line with the person we say we are. We also discuss how silence is complicity and highlight how we need to be more active, think about how we impact the world, contribute, and follow simple strategies to move forward as human beings.
“None of us can afford the kind of ignorance and disinterest of the hard work we have to do as human beings.” - Charla Jones
