Today we’re chatting about one big part of being a parent— kids and school. Leslie brought up the behavior chart used in schools and how it can have a negative impact on kids and how they learn or perform in the classroom. Stephanie talks about the struggles with the school system and how there is no individual learning plan, there is no one size fits all and all kids are held to the same standard or test score. It’s sad, frustrating and almost impossible to stop. We both homeschool our youngest, but have high schoolers in the public schools. We see both sides, we’d love to hear from you on how you feel about these topics. We both agree as we think most parents do, there should be more accountability to the next generation coming up to be in this world.
