Dr. Martin Luther King said this, "In the end, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends." In this episode, I unpack this idea of "silent friends" by sharing a very personal childhood memory. This is a super vulnerable story, but I have felt the Lord reminding me of it in this season where I have been trying to understand racial justice more. I think everyone can relate to at least one person in my story. I hope that it provokes you to also ponder and try to hear what the Lord is saying to us in terms of how to take action and help, as individuals and as the Body of Christ, to be allies with our minority brother and sisters.
