This Week: Batson River

Our next brewery in the series is now Batson River Brewing Distilling in Maine. They have locations in Portland and Kennebunk. However soon they will be in Biddeford and Wells! This place screams date night and has a wonderful beer and food menu.

• First Up: Guava IPA coming in at 6 abv. The guava puree really makes this one stands out both in color and taste. It’s hoppy and has just the right sweetness. A fun twist on an IPA.
• Second Up: Café Porpoise coming im at 4.9 % abv. This German Style Pilsner is named after a working fishing harbor in Kennebunkport. A malty sweetness and punch of hops balance out this beer.
