In this episode we discuss Lent and Holy week in light of the state of the world, our seasonal materials from A Sanctified Art (everything [in] between), and the scriptures and stories of Holy Week. It is a hard and heavy world, but as we wrestle with the texts and season we also look for, and toward, continued hope.
In this episode we look at the text from Luke that falls on eth second Sunday in Lent, for the Everything [in] Between series, put out by A Sanctified Art. It's the story of Mary and Martha (Luke 10:38-42) and we unpack the historical and traditional understandings of the text as well as other ways to interpret it.
