The Covenant of the Law was necessary to show us that we CANNOT live up to God's perfect and holy standards. It is a covenant that has come terrifying elements in it (Hebrews 12:18-21 and Exodus 19). The Covenant of Grace is a most glorious covenant that brings great comfort and joy to everyone who has surrendered to Jesus. Hebrews 12:18-24
