Hi my wonderful DOF listeners! Welcome to Season 2; I’m so excited to get back into my podcast, and share and interact more with my listeners. I have exciting episodes coming up, including more interviews than in Season 1.
W.E.B. Du Bois was a sociologist, a historian, a Civil Rights activist, a prolific author, and more. His education, research and many writings influenced generations of Americans and helped to bring Civil Rights to the consciousness of many people. Du Bois’ ideas were different than some peers at the time, but no less important and thought-provoking.
I’m excited to kick off Season 2 of Determine Our Future by talking about the life of, and lessons from, this incredible historical figure. It is a big job. Let’s get started.
