Passage of Reference:2 Samuel 12:16, 7:18, 1 Chronicles 28:2
For evident reasons, King David was called a “man after God’s own heart”, despite occasionally he did “things that displeased the Lord”. In the scriptures, he is found in different postures such as
Lying down (2 Samuel 12:16) – depicting a true repentance
Sitting before the Lord (2 Samuel 7:18) – depicting communion
Standing (1 Chronicles 28:2) – depicting his service
Expounding from the above passages, Br. Deepak draws out several edifying and exhorting lessons encouraging believers into a life of complete submission.
