Some define Training as "a learning process in which employees get an opportunity to develop skill, competency, and knowledge as per the job requirement" - meaning that it's directly correlated to the participant's or trainees' job responsibilities, it is short-term, and designed to improve employee work performance. On the other hand, some define Learning and Development as "learner-driven" and dependent upon where one sits in the organizational hierarchy. This video will discuss the difference between training and learning and development.
