"Do research. Look into how important bugs are, look into how cool they are, how pretty they are, and why you should care about them. That's a big part of my work, pushing to see them in a new light, to have them seen outside of the creepy crawlies that you don't want to touch. I really want to encourage people to take a closer look. Even house flies...as nasty as they are...are actually quite beautiful. Next time you see a fly, see if you can see what color it is, look at its pattern, maybe even Google why flies are important to the ecosystem."
