The events of January 6, 2021, and the storming of the capital building, were coming, I think we all knew this divisiveness was ultimately going to boil over.
I have no doubt that 99% of the protestors in DC would never incite violence, they were there to exercise a constitutional right.
Likewise, 99% of the social justice protestors this summer would never incite violence.
It is that 1% that is the concern. However, this becomes problematic when the 1% becomes 5, 10, or 25%, as by the time there are 25 to 45 million Americans willing to incite violence, then there is a real problem.
I find it comical when politicians and media pundits are aghast at the violence of last week, when their rhetoric, from both the left and right, are the very words that ferment and build an "us" versus "them" mindset.
Politics are not a sporting event, all Americans lose when we buy the ploys of politicians and media pundit attempts to divide us. We need to understand their devious techniques, so we can push back.
This podcast discusses the age-old technique of divide and conquer, and more importantly how the people can fight back against their evil and divisive tactics.
