Paul did not allow a false gospel to go unchallenged so that the saints of God will not be lead astray. Also, preachers who think themselves to be -somewhats- do not realize that they are not what's important. The gospel is what is important- not the preacher. There is only one gospel and it is the same for the circumcision as the uncircumcision.
