Walmart doesn’t just sell great-value produce and items for your everyday life. There are many services available that will make your life easier, whether you’re at home or in your office.
Walmart might be the right place for you to have your car’s tires balanced. I did some digging, and here’s what I found.
Walmart charges how much for tire balancing
Walmart’s Auto Care Centers have a selection of packages that include tire balance. If you only require balancing, the Lifetime Balance & Rotation Package is for you.
A complete package of tire installation can be purchased if you feel the need.
The Basic Tire Installation Package will cost you $15 per tire and includes tire mounting, a valve stems service pack, 50-mile lug re-torque services, as well as tire balancing and rotation.
Be aware that there will be an additional $10 surcharge for all tires bought online, in-store at Walmart.com and in Walmart.com.
This package is $25 per tire. It comes with everything that the Basic package offers plus a road-hazard protection warranty. This is not available on tires bought at Walmart, or online from Walmart.
What is the average time it takes to balance tires at Walmart?
It will take you a few hours to have your tires balanced by Walmart’s Auto Care Centers.
These include how many tires must be balanced and in what condition they are.
Walmart cannot however guarantee how long the tire-balancing process will take. However, it is a common practice to balance tires in between 40-60 minutes and up to 2 hours.
Your tires will be easier to balance if they are clean and new than older tires used for driving in rough terrain.

You can check the internet to find out if your nearest Walmart has an Auto Care Center before you bring your vehicle in.

Walmart will even balance tires you buy from other shops! Walmart offers a Lifetime Balance & Rotation program for tires purchased from other stores and online.
Remember that the Basic Tire Install package includes a $10 fee for tires bought elsewhere than Walmart.
Valuable Tire Installation Package is the only service that can apply to tire balancing services not available elsewhere. Walmart tires have the exclusive road hazard coverage warranty.
