The reason the 29th chapter isn't in the book of acts is because YOU are the 29th chapter. God's testimony of what he is doing is continued through the church today, through his holy spirit working in your life.

Turn in your Bibles to Acts 29. It is important that we look to the Word of God.Build our lives on the Word…“The word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword…” Hebrews 4:12 Say Amen when you have found Acts 29… beginning at verse 1. Acts 29  The book of Acts is 28 chapters long. The last written verse of Acts is Acts 28 verse 31. Well let’s read that. Acts 28:31 (NIV) He proclaimed the kingdom of God and taught about the Lord Jesus Christ—with all boldness and without hindrance!   Let’s compare how the book of Acts ends to thee rest of the New Testament. Matthew 28:20 (NKJV) teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen. Mark 16:20 (NKJV) And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word through the accompanying signs. Amen. Luke 24:53 (NKJV) and were continually in the temple praising and blessing God. Amen. John 21:25 (NKJV) And there are also many other things that Jesus did, which if they were written one by one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that would be written. Amen. Romans 16:27 (NKJV) to the only wise God be glory forever through Jesus Christ! Amen. Revelation 22:21 (NKJV) The grace of the Lord Jesus be with God’s people. Amen.  Amen – truly, so be it The New Testament writers would close their books with an “amen.”It signified THE END of that writing. The gospels, the letters, and Revelation have amens at the end… Acts has no amen  Why doesn’t Acts have an Amen at the end of chapter 28? The book of Acts is the Actions of the Apostles.-The works of the Church of Jesus.-The story of God moving in the Earth. There is no AMEN because this story still continues.  Acts 29 I told you to turn to Acts 29… We are Acts 29.   Do we really know what this means? The living God is not done. Dust off your Bible, because God is still writing the story. Acts 1:8 (NIV) 8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” Acts 2:4 (NIV) 4 All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them. God’s Spirit doesn’t just fill rooms… He fills people! Acts 2:41 (NIV) Those who accepted his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to their number that day. Acts 3:6-7 (NIV) 6 Then Peter said, “Silver or gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk.” 7 Taking him by the right hand, he helped him up, and instantly the man’s feet and ankles became strong. Acts 4:3-4 (niv) 3 They seized Peter and John and, because it was evening, they put them in jail until the next day. 4 But many who heard the message believed; so the number of men who believed grew to about five thousand. Persecuted – but exploding in growth because of the message. Acts 4:12 (NIV) 12 Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.” Acts 5:14-16 (NIV)  14 Nevertheless, more and more men and women believed in the Lord and were added to their number. 15 As a result, people brought the sick into the streets and laid them on beds and mats so that at least Peter’s shadow might fall on some of them as he passed by.
