Sometimes being a black professional means we have to switch in and out of ourselves. What does that mean you ask? Well there are times when the way we would speak or interact with our own isn't deemed to be the professional route or maybe (others) just wouldn't understand our speech, slang , clothes, hair, or all around culture. So we SWITCH it to something that is more appropriate for the environment we are currently in. Known as "code switching"
