Bill Withers had it right when he wrote the famous song "Lean on Me... "We all need somebody to lean on"! Support systems are vital to us, not only in PT school, but in life in general... Of all the things in your PT school & life tool kit, your supprot system may be the most improtant thing. Join us on today's episode as we chat about our personal experiences in building our support systems in school, ways we adapted to changes in our support systems, & the value open, trusted relationships had on our overall PT school experience. We'll also chat about the roles different people play in our support system and the importance of creating healthy boundaries within those support systems. Anna will also share a challenge she has for all of us as we move forward in creating & shaping our support systems.
Who is in your support group, & what role do you play in supporting each other? Take some time this week and thank the people who are in your "tribe", send them a text, give them a call, write them a letter, and let them know what they mean to you.
