Revelation 4:1-5 This is a vision of the throne room of God. Like the visions of theprophets in the Old Testament, John struggles to find the words to describe what he sees.
Revelation 4:6-11 The incredible scene of worship and praise that John sees in heavenis breathtaking. What John hears the elders proclaim is that God is “HOLY” and He is“WORTHY.”
Exodus 19:9-19 Thunder and lightning are the visual and audible phenomenon thatoften accompany the presence of God, but so are fire, smoke, and loud noises/voices.
Revelation 5:1-13 John also sees Jesus in the throne room of God, and Jesus is honoredand worshipped as being worthy as well. But what is said about Jesus being worthy ofpraise is not the same as what is said about why God is worthy of praise. Both are worthy ofpraise, but there are different reasons for each.
Psalm 71:9-16 Praising God in the bad times can be the most difficult season for us tooffer worship. But our circumstances of life don’t change who God is and why He is worthyto be praised.
