Before Sony rebooted their Spider-Man franchise with Tom Holland in the MCU, they rebooted it with Andrew Garfield in the SCU (Spidey Cinematic Universe.) Audiences were on board for the first entry in this franchise, but were so divided on the second installment that all of the planned sequels and spin-offs were cancelled.

Today we're taking a second look at the sophomore Amazing film and diving into everything it did well, and asking questions like: Was there enough here to warrant a sequel? Is Andrew Garfield the best Peter Parker? And why does Sony want a Sinister Six movie so badly?

Despite its mixed reception, we can all agree this is the best live action Spider-Man suit right? RIGHT?
