If you take off the Belt, you destination for a belief system will be Babylon. If the TRUTH is not your foundation, you will build on and in Babylon. And God will send you there with your delusion. We as disciples need to become more intentional and strategic with our time, our prayer time, our work time and our social time. Enlarge your sphere of influence. Remember this, when you deliberately look for opportunity (i.e. lost souls, friends and family, who are on their way to an eternity in the Lake of Fire), the Holy Spirit will lead them across your path. A disciple will always place themselves in the “no excuse” zone! – meditate on that, think about a person who makes excuses as opposed to a person who does not!
How do we find an environment that will enhance and develop our discipleship lifestyle?
What does a normal disciple look like? This week, David Thomas issues a challenge to every one of you; do you want to be a disciple? And if you do, what are the ramifications of that decision?
I finished last week’s sermon, Pt. 2 Finding the Disciples for the Discipleship environment.
So we looked at Discipleship! I closed with these questions:
Who is responsible in your life for the environment you are in?
Who is responsible in your life for your journey from Baby / born again- to novice / recruit - to maturity / veteran? How much personal responsibility are you taking for the state of your Discipleship?
THE QUESTION THIS WEEK IS: What does a NORMAL Disciple look like?
