I sit down with Dr. Khalil Carter Sr., a stranger I once met on a plane back in 2010. Khalil and I crossed paths for a reason and I think it's what we are doing today, to take action and speak up and out for the injustices being done to POC. Khalil is a doctor in San Diego, CA where he practices as an OBGYN. The stories he tells about being a black doctor are quite shocking, but are they really?
