Episode 31. The Underlying Reasons Why We Disagree.
We basically know that the reason why we're arguing (i.e. whose turn is it to do the dishes) isn't the real reason.
What is? There are 3 common types of arguments that are usually going on behind what's at hand. The dishes isn't the problem it's how we're viewing it is. And I tackle the most common arguments and disagreements I've had with family members and friends so you can become sharper in seeing what's happening.
And then, you can adjust how you communicate in that conversation to have an outcome that is resolved and leaves you feeling better. And even a better understanding of the other person.
Check out the 3 reasons and see if you can see this pattern in your last disagreement with someone.
